Adolf Robitschek

Proprietor of the Austrian music publishing house of Adolf Robitschek Musikverlag, which he joined first in 1873.
Robitschek was one of the three founding Viennese publishers (the others being Josef Weinberger, and Berhard Herzmansky of Doblinger), who in 1901 formed Universal Edition, Robitschek taking out 304 shares in the new company.
Correspondence with Schenker
The only correspondence known to survive between Robitschek and Schenker forms part of the early Universal Edition Correspondence : OC 52/2, 9, 10, and 393 (1901, 1903, 1904).
