Was macht der l. Karli? Lass also, bitte dringend, etwas von dir hören.

Wir sind im Auspacken.........

We too are back home and ask: How are you? Are you already to get up and go? How is dear little Karl getting on? And how are the tormented Vally and your little girl? (When you have time to think of it, have those "graphs" sent to me; I would dearly like to see them.) And let us hear from you.

We are busy unpacking... .

To all of you, many good wishes from the two of us,
Your

Footnotes

1 Writing of this postcard is recorded in Schenker's diary at OJ 4/1, p. 3252 (September 5, 1928): "An Fl. ("To Floriz (postcard): how he and his child are; I remind him of the [Urlinie] graph.") The removal of the postage stamp has resulted in the loss of some of Schenker's handwritten date: this is taken from the diary entry and the postmark.
