Herzlichen 1 Dank für Ihre Karte. 2 Die Exemplare Schubert und Schumann stammen noch von der letzten Sendung Pflichtexemplare des Verlegers à conto der neuen Auflagen, und das Mendelssohn-Expl Exemplar hatte ich noch übrig, sodass ich also wirklich garkein Auslagen etc. dafür hatte. 3 – Vrieslander schrieb mir sehr begeistert über seinen Seefelder Aufenthalt; ich hoffe ihn Anfang Oktober zu sehen. — Auch wir haben seit längerer Zeit furchtbares Wetter, kalt, regnerisch, melancholisch. [printed:] ⇧ Postcard From: ⇧ Walter Dahms Großgmain near Reichenhall ⇧ To: ⇧ Dr. Heinrich Schenker, Vienna III, Reisnerstraße 38 [postmark:] || GROSSGMAIN | 3 | 9 || {verso} ⇧ Dear revered Master, Many 1 thanks for your postcard. 2 The copies of Schubert and Schumann come from the last shipment of complimentary copies of the publisher on account of the new edition, and the copy of the Mendelssohn I had left over, so I really had no added expense over them. 3 – Vrieslander wrote me very enthusiastically about his stay in Seefeld; I hope to see him at the beginning of October. – We have also been having dreadful weather for the longest time: cold, rainy, melancholic.
