— Von Tomay Figuren, Blaubausen [sic] = OC 54/207. 1 — Von 11–12h Oppel bei mir: ich zeige ihm Stimmführungen aus der Eroica an der Hand der eben eingelangten Figuren u. gebe ihm das Schubert-Jahrbuch 2 u. das Büchlein von Dunn 3 mit; er entwirft einen Vorschlag für das Archiv: unter welchen Modalitäten die Bilder zu verleihen wären. — Die Jause im Freien, dann allgemeiner Spaziergang auf der Terasse gegenüber, bis 7h. — Um ¼9h im Zimmer. — Von Rothberger (K.): Grüße, ein musikalischer Witz: über einen 2. — From Tomay music examples, blueprints= OC 54/207. 1 — From 11 to 12 o'clock, Oppel with me: I show him the voice-leading [graphs] from the "Eroica" with reference to the music examples that just arrived, and give him the Schubert Yearbook 2 and the little book by Dunn 3 ; he sketches a recommendation for the Archive, according to which terms the pictures could be loaned. — Afternoon snack out of doors, then a communal walk on the terrace opposite, until 7 o'clock. — At 8:15, in my room. — From Rothberger (postcard): greetings, a musical joke: concerning a second zoo in Vienna (!?). —© Translation William Drabkin. |
