Tullnerbach and Schenker
Tullnerbach was often included in Schenker's weekend hikes on his own and with others in the Vienna Woods in the 1900s, and again with Jeanette in the 1920s and early 1930s, as recorded in his diaries. They usually started and finished with travel on the Western Railroad. Typical examples are for Easter Sunday on March 31, 1907: "In the afternoon, from Purkersdorf to Tullnerbach and Pressbaum. Stroll around the streets.", and for Sunday April 21 of the same year: "Walk through the streets (Purkersdorf to Tullnerbach to Pressbaum to Rekarwinkel, and back to Tullnerbach)."
