¹ This is the second lesson entry for Deutsch recorded on October 26 (the date sequence, underline=Deutsch, being 26, 26, 27, 27, 26, 27, 29): while Schenker could have given her two lessons in one day, it would have been logical for him to place the two adjacent in the lessonbook rather than separated by three other entries. It is thus conceivable that one or other date may be incorrect. However, Monday and Thursday are the days on which all other lessons this saison were given, and the 26th and 29th were Monday and Thursday, respectively.

² "No. 21" counts the two sets of etudes, Op. 10 and Op. 25, as a single number sequence (12 + 9 = 21).
