1 This postcard replies to Schenker’s letter of January 12, 1933 (OeNB H Autogr.856/20-2). Schenker’s diary for January 14 records: “Von Marx (K. express): kommt Montag um ½6h.” (“From Marx (express postcard): he will come on Monday at 5:30”). The message was countermanded by OC 18/19, January 15, 1932. The meeting took place at the Schenkers’ apartment on January 18.
