Ski resort 40 km (25 miles) south-west of Bozen [Bolzano], west of the Mendelpass, in the South Tyrol; since 1915, it has been part of Italy, in the Trentino [Alto Adige] region.

Schenker stayed in Fondo-Ronzone, at the Hotel Waldkönigin, in July-August 1913 (OJ 15/16, [17]; OJ 1/12, p. 380; WSLB 166, 170, 172).
