Acquaintance of Heinrich Schenker and Jeanette Kornfeld/Schenker around 1918–19.

Mrs. Sager is mentioned occasionally in Schenker's diary for 1918 and 1919 as supplying Heinrich and Jeanette with provisions during the wartime and post-war shortages. In September 1919, Mrs. Sager converted to Old-Catholicism in order to be able to marry.

Note: The Old Catholic Church (Alt-Katholizismus) is a Christian denomination originating with mainly German-speaking groups that split from the Holy See in the 1870s because they disagreed with the solemn declaration of the doctrine of papal infallibility promulgated by the First Vatican Council (1869–1870).
