Die Dame erzählt, daß sich manchmal zehn solche Tierchen bei ihr einfinden. Sehr possierlich sieht es aus, wenn das kleine Wesen auf den Hinterbeinen sitzt, das unverhältnismäßig große Schwänzchen steil aufgerichtet, u. die Vorderfüße faßt [sic] wie Hände gebraucht! — Um 4^h erscheint Fräulein Vornkeller; wir nehmen im Garten vor dem Hotel gemeinsam die Jause u. bleiben bis ½7^h beisammen. The lady says that she sometimes has ten such animals around her. It looks very amusing when the little creature sits on its hind legs, lifting its disproportionately long tail erect and using its front feet almost like hands! — At 4 o’clock, Miss Vornkeller appears; we take afternoon snack together in the garden in front of the hotel and stay together until 6:30. I show her the Five Analyses in Sketchform – at the end, a short time on the balcony; – we are both exhausted. — Games of solitaire.
