4. Morgens +4°, nachmittags –5°, kalter Wind.

— Hupka zahlt 5000 Kronen, beteuert, daß der BruderTuretzky an Spekulationen nicht teilnehme usw., sonst würde er eine 2. Stunde nehmen. — Korrekturen an op. 109, meist Ausmertzung [sic] der Fremdworte, die durch gleichsinnige deutsche fast derselben Buchstabenzahl ersetzt werden sollen.

— Hupka pays 5,000 Kronen, emphasizes that his brother does not participate in speculations, etc., otherwise he would take a second lesson. — Proof correcting to Op. 109, mainly removal of foreign terms that should be replaced by German terms that have the same meaning and roughly the same number of characters.
