Sehr geehrter Herr Direktor! 1

Ich bringe Ihnen hiermit meine Bitte d.d. 26./6 2 wieder in Erinnerung : Es ist nämlich in Tiroler Postämtere 3 die Legitimierung behufs Entgegennahme von Geldsendungen ziemlich umständlich, so daß es mir lieber wäre, (wenn halbwegs möglich!) bis spätestens Donnerstag (2.7.) in den Besitz des Honorars zu gelangen.

I remind you herewith of my request dated June 26: 2 Proof of identity in Tyrolean post offices 3 with respect to the receipt of money transfers is rather complicated, so it would be preferable to me (if remotely possible!) to have the honorarium in my hands by Thursday (July 2) at the latest.

3 Schenker's diary for June 30 (OJ 1/7, p. 89c) records: "Sommer in St. Anton . Frau J. K. Kp." ("Summer in Sankt Anton . Mrs. J. K. Counterpoint ."). "Kp." is written half a line below "J. K.", so no direct association may have been intended (though it may be speculated that Jeanette helped Schenker secretarially with his work while on the summer holidays that he spent with the Kornfelds).
