Wolgeboren Herrn Professor Dr. H. Schenker
Wien

Euer Wolgeboren!

Professor H. Schenker, Esq.
Vienna

Highly esteemed Sir,

Owing to unforeseen eventualities, viz. that two copyists have fallen ill and a third is behind-hand with other work, the completion of the copying has been set back by one-to-two days. This should be of no consequence, however, since you expressly told 2 me that the parts must be sent off to Busoni at the latest on the 8th inst., 3 and this deadline should be met despite the disagreeable circumstances.

Nos. 1, 2, and 3 4 with complete set of duplicate copies will be ready this evening or at the latest {2} early 5 tomorrow morning, No.4 in the course of tomorrow.

With kind regards,
