d. 11ten October 1910

Sehr verehrter Herr! 1

Allezeit Ihr getreuer

October 11, 1910

Dear Mr. [Schenker], 1

Today, in addition to my entirely provisional cordial thanks for your valued, informative and interesting letter, 2 just a warning that, if there is still room for change, you should send me the two delightful presents that are intended for me not to Grosslichterfelde but to here at Lauenstein in Hannover . We are expecting to remain here for a few extra weeks, and I fear that [?any] printed materials, 3 [continued in left margin sideways:] like a [2 illeg. words], will not get forwarded to here but will be delivered to my Lichter- [end marginalia] {recto} -felde home, where they will then lie until our return. Once again, accept thanks and most cordial greetings!

As to my health, there is little cheerful news to report.

As always, your faithful

1 Receipt of this postcard is not recorded in Schenker's diary.

2 The letter referred to here is not known to survive.
