As a practising musician, and also as a theorist, 3 Dr. H. Schenker {verso} is held in high regard among his professional associates.

2 The adressee is unidentified here: it is possibly the Rothschild Artists' Foundation, in which case possibly paving the way for Schenker's application of 1899 (see OJ 12/26 [1], November 20, 1899).

3 The use of the specialist designation "Theoretiker" perhaps dates this card at earliest after 1902.
