1 Writing of this letter is recorded in Schenker's diary at OJ 3/9, pp. 3071‒3072, May 31, 1927: "an die U.-E. recomm. das imprimirte op. 57 ..." ("to UE by registered mail the copy of Op. 57 with imprimatur ..."). Most of the underlining in this document is done in pen, but "T. 235" is underlined in crayon, and the "p" in the text in both ink and crayon.
