Dear Sir,

I ask that the two copies (vols I and II/1) ordered on my account and destined for Mrs. Jenny Kornfeld (Aussig, Bohemia) be packed together with the copies reserved for me myself and be redirected to my own address. 1 It goes without saying that, as before, they are to be charged to my account.

I remain, with best thanks,
with kind regards

Footnotes

1 Counterpoint 1 (i.e. vol. II/1) was published on October 4, so Schenker's redirection was just in time. This seemingly insignificant message implicitly conveys the momentous fact that Jeanette Kornfeld is leaving her husband and family in Aussig and moving to Vienna to be with Schenker (cf. CA 127, September 20).
